The weather in Florida is considered to be semi-tropical, with high temperatures during the summer months, but also high humidity – watch out for the afternoon thunderstorms, you get torrential rain for a short period of time, then the sun comes and within half an hour, it's dry!

Although it may appear to be overcast the weather is very deceptive, it is essential that visitors who are not used to the weather, consume plenty of fluids during the course of the day – dehydration can be serious and ruin your vacation.
